RJ, Gav and Gabz began the day with a splash!! And the kids ended the day with some cotton candy.

Last Hurrah Before School

The kids thought we were going to a movie when we kept driving past the theater....then we told them about our mini vacation!! "Yahoos" were in abundance after I explained that I did indeed pack their toothbrushes!! We began with an "Adios" to a couple cousins!! Hope it's not too Chile for Ashleigh or too Green for Grif!! Back into the car after a nights' rest and off to Bev and Dave's for the adventure. Thrill rides, wet rides, fast and furious rides seemed to be the vote!! Gav being 1 inch too short for the BIG ones; compensated with snackies. We finished with a bit of school shopping and then watched the Twinkies lose!! We sure had fun making the "Circle Me Bert" signs. More details and photos later!!

Fro

Fro, also know as Greg Brady has gotten a hair cut; not too short though, I love the curls! Watch out Senior LPGA...Katie and 3 friends just won a 4 person Women's Scramble. I still have a little improving but I know that if I had some PINGS I would already be on tour.

Rats!

Gabrielle, a.k.a. "Wendy" just completed her first musical/play!! She really enjoyed it; despite feeling ill for two days during practice. A few cousins also came and performed as well. Evie is in the red vest. The kids have seen some cousins a few times recently and they have really enjoyed the visits! The kids are still swimming; Gabz with her flips, Gav perfecting his dives and Gracie running off the diving board has been entertaining. Gracie lost a water wing after a huge jump in the water and calmly swam to the side and then cried after she was out. No panic at all from her until she was safely out. They are growing up too fast!

A New Hobby

A new hobby for the kids are Webkinz!! Gabz received one and after beginning to play with it; both she and Gavin were hooked. (Okay, maybe I enjoy helping out with the kinzcash occasionally also.) They are not available online so I drove all over the state searching for them a few months ago (even having Gramma Mary and Grampa John picking one up on their way here) and now, they are right here in town! How lucky!! We just found out their cousins also have these pets so they will be playing online with them too! From left to right we have Moos, Polkadot, Pinky, Pumpkin, Gav and Alfred. Gabz actually won a virtual Webkinz monkey and her name is Kate. If you have these and want to play their names are: candogabs, candogav and you can guess it, candogracie.
